Possible Police Investigation Into Bill Cosby Allegations

The CBC is reporting that model Chloe Goins has spoken with the LAPD, following allegations that comedian Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her.

Goins alleges the incident took place at the Playboy Mansion in 2008.

Prosecutors had previously declined to press charges based upon the allegations of Judy Huth, citing the amount of time that had passed since the incident, which reportedly happened in the 1970’s.

In the Goins case, the statute of limitations may not be applicable, meaning Cosby could be the subject of investigation, and any ensuing criminal charges.

Goins did not speak at a press conference held Wednesday, and was represented by her lawyer, Spencer Kuvin, instead.

Kuvin made a brief statement saying, “Ms. Goins and I are here for two reasons: for justice and accountability.”
