What is Steaming Hot Talk?
It’s a bit different from your typical munch or kink social – there’s a bit more focus put on interesting kinky questions and themes, as well as meeting new people during our cafe takeover. It’s very much small group kink discussion.
Join us, grab a cup of coffee, tea, or a delicious milkshake and choose a table to sit at. Each table is equipped with discussion cards (they’ll remind you a bit of Trivial Pursuit, but you don’t need to know who won the 1974 Olympic Gold Medal for Underwater Basket Weaving) containing icebreakers, trivia, and kink questions to discuss with your table-mates. Get to know each other a bit, then…discuss amongst yourselves! Throughout the night we’ll encourage everyone to mingle and find some new table-mates, helping you meet more people and hear more viewpoints.
We’ll be hosting Steaming Hot Talk each month, usually on the last Tuesday of the month. We’ll update the date of the next event on this page, and you can always find out about the next event by following @MasterMatt84 on FetLife or by signing up for our handy dandy e-Reminders.
What will this cost me?
We wanted to keep the cost of this event low, so we’ve made sure there is no cover charge. The only cost is whatever you drink or eat. Our venue has generously opened their space to us after hours, so please thank and support them by buying enjoying what they have to offer while you visit!
PS. We understand that many people are stretched financially right now, and we don’t want cost to be a barrier that keeps anyone from participating and learning. If you’re experiencing financial difficulty that would prevent you from being able to enjoy this event, please reach out to @MasterMatt84.
Event Rules

- Be discrete and do not ‘out’ anyone
- Don’t touch what isn’t yours, including belongings and people
- Share your views, but be respectful of the views of others. You don’t have to agree, but you do have to be polite
- Understand that someone talking about their sexual or kink desires in this forum does NOT constitute consent – just because they say they want to experience something doesn’t mean they want to experience it with YOU (or at that time)
- If you are on the receiving end of or witness any inappropriate behaviour, please immediately notify the event host
- Anyone with a criminal record of violent or sex-related crimes, or who is on the SOIRA registry (Canada’s sex offender registry) is prohibited from attending
- The event organizer and venue both maintain the right to restrict access or eject anyone from the event, for any reason, at any time
