Bill Cosby Heckled About Sexual Assault At Ontario Show

Bill Cosby was forced to address the ongoing sexual assault Bill Cosbyallegations against him, as a heckler interrupted his comedy show in London last night (Jan. 08, 2015). The 77-year-old comedian is in Canada kicking off his 2015 tour.

Although Wednesday’s show in Kitchener went uninterrupted (though Cosby was ambushed by This Hour Has 22 Minutes as he attempted to get into his car), he was not so lucky last night. According to reports Cosby, himself, was the first to bring up the allegations, when a female audience member stood up and walked past the front of the stage. Cosby questioned where she was going, and she responded that she was going to get a drink from the lobby. Upon hearing that, the comedian joked saying, “You have to be careful about drinking around me.” The audience laughed at the joke, and the show resumed.

Minutes later, a male audience member shouted that Cosby was a rapist. The audience booed the man, and Cosby responded by telling the audience not to respond to the man by saying, “Shh, no clapping right now. That’s all right. Patience.”

Police escorted the heckler out of the building without further incident, as the audience applauded.

Outside of Budweiser Gardens a small group shouted at attendees and carried signs protesting the comedy show, drawing light to the allegations of sexual assault that have been brought forth in recent weeks.

UPDATE

Cosby also performed in Hamilton, and that show was heckled by a group of roughly 30 protesters who stood up, blew rape whistles, and exposed shirts printed with the words ‘We Believe Women’. The group was led out of the venue by security and law enforcement.
