Balloon Fetish
Believe it or not, there is actually a sexual fetish revolving around various shapes and sizes of balloons! A ‘looner’ is a person who derives sexual satisfaction from a balloon. The fetish normally focuses on latex balloons with some looners being attracted to the latex material itself, others to the expansion of that balloon (much in the way a penis engorges or ‘inflates’ when it is aroused, or that breasts enlarge), and others to the idea of popping a balloon.
Some looners enjoy rubbing a balloon against their genitalia, or humping it. Others actually use the balloon as an insertable, a bit like an inflatable dildo. As an extension of the fetish, some looners also enjoy creating clothing out of balloons, as well as incorporating balloons into other kinky activities.
Poppers and Non-Poppers
Looners, for the most part, fall under two categories. For some looners, the appeal is the size, shape, and feel of the balloon itself. However, some people that enjoy playing with balloons get off on the idea of the balloon being stretched, often laying or sitting on them. Often they wish to push it past its breaking point so that it bursts, either by being stomped on, stabbed, or otherwise burst. In fact, some people equate the sound of a balloon popping to an orgasm. The anticipation of the balloon bursting, and the sensations involved with actually seeing, hearing, and feeling it explode cause a burst of adrenaline to surge through the looners
body. Interestingly enough, some non-poppers are actually averse to the idea of popping balloons.
