International Women’s Day

Women are graceful and strong, compassionate and fierce, beautiful and a force to be reckoned with, intelligent and practical, giving and able to move mountains.  Today Ontario Kink celebrates the incredible women that have worked hard to empower other women and eliminate the marginalization of women of all races, religions, classes, abilities and sexualities.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2015 is ‘Make It Happen.’  Let’s take this day to encourage the recognition of women in the workplace, the safety of women in the street and in their homes, and the power of choice over their own bodies and their own lives. We all need to help level the playing field and work towards an understanding of what it means for women to be an equal part of the human race.
