Cuckolding

Cuckolding is a fetish in which one person is sexually aroused by their partner choosing to have sex with someone else, normally resulting in their exclusion from the sex act itself.

Historically, cuckolding typically has referred to a husband with an adulterous wife, and the word cuckold was often used in a derogatory manner. In the historical context, cuckolding was often non-consensual (with the male either being unaware of the adultery or powerless to stop it from occurring).

Terminology

Though cuckolding has historically referred to partners that are husband and wife, marriage is not a requirement for the fetish.

Amongst those that engage in fetishitic cuckolding, it is most common for the female partner to take on the sexually dominant role known as a cuckoldress or ‘hotwife’, and the male to take on a submissive, or ‘cuckold’ role. However, female cuckolds, sometimes referred to as a ‘cuckquean’ (a woman whose partner cuckolds them), also exist. A male partner that joins the couple as the third (or more) partner is frequently referred to as a ‘bull’ or ‘stud’, and a female partner that joins a couple is usually referred to as a ‘cuckcake’.
