Independent Inquiry finds Ghomeshi case Handled Poorly By Management

ghomeshi5An investigation into the way CBC handled the Jian Ghomeshi case has been done by a third party, Janice Rubin, a Toronto employment lawyer with expertise in the field of work place harassment.  Her report concludes that CBC management did not properly handle the situation.  You can find Rubin’s full report HERE.  Two executives at CBC have been let go as a result of her findings.  Additionally, a 2010 complaint was not made known to management, but instead to the Canadian Media Guild (CMG), the employee’s union.  The union “has failed to respond properly.”

Ghomeshi remains on bail with restrictions until at least his next court date on April 28th
